Hershel Sarbin, chairman of Hershel Sarbin Associates, has more than four decades of experience and success in senior publishing and consulting positions, creating and implementing highly successful strategies for special interest magazines and communication enterprises.
Sarbin began professional life as a Harvard-trained lawyer, only to fall in love with media and marketing. He concluded one career as the President of Ziff-Davis, where he headed more than 50 special interest magazines. During the next chapter, he was brought in as CEO of Cowles Business Media, where he scored a major turnaround with a 300% gain in revenue.
In 1998 Hershel joined Peppers and Rogers Group, the leading consultant in marketing One to One strategies, as a Senior Director, media The 1 to 1 Media Group, which he organized and directed, continues as a leading web-based service in relationship marketing. Hershel served on the Board of Directors of Children’s Rights from 2002-2006, where he led this national advocacy group’s effort in multi media communication.
Sarbin formed his own foundation, Child Advocacy 360 News Network at the beginning of 2007. and in mid-year CA 360 was invited by the nationally recognized FORUM for Youth Investment to partner with its subsidiary, Connect for Kids, in a major effort to engage a broader public as activists in child well being. through the power of one to one journalism.
